Position 2 Term: 4 Years 6/30/2025

It took me 50+ years, living in Detroit (MI) where I was born, Covington (TN) where I grew up on a farm riding horses, Bellevue (WA) where I attended junior high and high school, then Portland where I attended college, to finally arrive in Pacific City. After graduating from Lewis & Clark College with a B.A. in French Language & Literature, I worked in International Education, then Admissions, finishing my career with the College as Registrar 27 years later. Through those years I traveled extensively throughout the U.S. and internationally for work and pleasure. My wanderlust is satisfied!

I’ve always believed that a community is what its members make of it. I have served on the Board of Neskowin Valley School, on the Tillamook County Planning Commission, and, more recently, as the inaugural Chair of the PCWoods Citizens Planning Advisory Committee. I am privileged to serve now on the Board for PCJWSA.Monday through Friday I work at Oregon Coast Bank in Pacific City. And, I discovered that I am not too old to ride a horse, so in my spare time I enjoy hours on the trail with “Pete,” and whoever else wants to go along. It’s a good life!
