Dan Doyle, Director
Position 4 Term: 4 Years 6/30/2025
Having worked 14-years in a family-owned truck repair business in Hillsboro I changed employment and joined up with a diesel engine, generator, and Allison transmission distributor in Portland. During that 31-year tenure and while advancing within the company we moved from Hillsboro to Seattle, and onto the Sacramento area. In 2011 we moved from N/CA to Eugene and in February 2016 my wife Denise (of 50-years) and I retired moving full time to Pacific City to take care of my mother, Carol Doyle. My father Jack passed away at age 80 in 2008 and while “mom” was able to spend most of her widowed years living independently her health was failing. She passed August 2017 having lived in her words a wonderful life of 86 years. Looking back Jack and Carol and their three sons frequented Pacific City having friends and family who owned Pacific City property dating back to the mid-1950s. My parents became full time residents circa 1988. While living with and caring for my mother I looked for ways to be involved within the PC community and applied to volunteer for Nestucca Rural Fire Protection District. Other 1st responder activity includes a position of director for the Nestucca Volunteer Firefighters Association. My wife Denise is active with “Nesko” which naturally involves me when the “Nesko Ladies” need heavy lifting. We share presidential responsibilities for the PC Heights Neighborhood Association. As a fellow PCJWSA customer, and now board member, I look forward to learning what I can of the innumerous detailed operations of our local taxpayer owned Water and Sewer Authority. I hope to apply (my) business and life experience(s) combined with common sense. Denise and I plan to continue enjoying retirement in PC balancing family and friend visitations, traveling, and community volunteerism.
